Scripted scores and performance. A response to the recent re-emergence of neo-fascist movements in Sweden where groups such as Nordiska Motståndsrörelsen/Nordic Resistance Movement among others have gained strength, both in membership and in their visual and performative tactics that informs the blatant public exhibitionism. Collaboration with artists Andreas Engman, MC Coble and Jeuno JE Kim as part of Public* Display* of Actions* (P*D*A*).
Co-curated seminar. Post-Colonial Artist-Organisation in African Regions? was a seminar organised and co-curated for STRETCHED research project, led by artist Jason E. Bowman. The seminar took place during La Biennale di Venezia 2017, as a collateral programme in Sala del Camino, Campo S. Cosmo, Venice, IT – as part of the second Research Pavillion. 23 September 2017. On Afrophobia: Towards Decolonial Curatorial Approaches was a seminar that took place on 18 January 2016 (Martin Luther King day). With: Nana Adusei-Poku, Christine Eyene, Alanna Lockward and Christian Nyampeta.

Encounter via photo shoot. Produced in 2014, The Last Image at Eggers was a site-responsive project that departed from Hôtel Eggers’ historic connection to Swedish emigration in the 19th and early 20th centuries. I solicited participation from people interested in having their portraits taken at one of Eggers’ suites, whilst they thought about their last image – the image they’d hold on to before fleeing Sweden.
